Hyderabad, Aug. 11 -- The Telangana government today disbursed incentive assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to 178 candidates who cleared the Civil Services Mains examination, under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastam programme.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring the highest representation from Telangana in the Civil Services.
"We are ready to extend all possible support. Apart from the Rs 1 lakh aid to mains qualifiers, those reaching the interview stage will also receive Rs 1 lakh along with accommodation support in Delhi," he said.
Special honours were presented to ten candidates who secured selection in the Civil Services last year.
