Hyderabad, Dec. 9 -- The Government of Telangana has constituted the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) to spearhead one of the country's most ambitious urban development programs-an integrated, future-ready city spanning 765 sq. km in the southern region of Hyderabad.

Envisioned as a model for sustainable and inclusive urbanisation, FCDA will guide the transformation of this emerging corridor, located beyond GHMC limits and strategically positioned near the Outer Ring Road, Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar Highways, and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, an official statement said on Tuesday.
