Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Minister Seethakka today said the state government remains committed to the welfare of journalists and their families.
At a programme held at the Media Academy building in Nampally, cheques of Rs 1 lakh each were distributed to the families of 18 journalists who recently passed away while in service. The cheques were handed over by Minister Seethakka, Press Academy Chairman K Srinivas Reddy, and Special Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Ch Priyanka.
