Hyderabad, Jan. 30 -- The Telangana government has taken a significant step toward enhancing the state's power capacity, with its efforts yielding results under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.

The Himachal Pradesh government recently invited proposals for 22 hydroelectric projects under the BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) scheme. In response, a team of officials from Telangana's power department visited Himachal Pradesh, studied the proposals, and expressed interest in projects with a capacity of more than 100 MW.
