Hyderabad, March 15 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has strongly defended the state's ambitious loan waiver scheme, emphasising that the government has delivered on its promise to waive loans up to Rs 2 lakh for farmers.

During discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address on Saturday, Vikramarka urged BRS leaders to stop spreading misinformation about the scheme.

He stated that details of the loan waiver for each constituency are documented and will be publicly displayed in all villages to ensure transparency.
