Hyderabad, July 23 -- In a historic step towards resolving long-pending land mapping issues, Telangana Revenue, Housing, and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced the successful completion of a pilot land survey in five out of 413 villages in the state that have remained without official maps for decades.
The minister said that the survey, carried out using drone/aerial mapping and ground truthing rover technology, was completed in Salar Nagar of Gandeed mandal in Mahabubnagar district, Kommanapalli-Kothadi in Bheerpur mandal of Jagtial, Mulugumada in Errupalem mandal of Khammam, Nuguru in Venkatapuram mandal of Mulugu, and Shahid Nagar in Vatpalli mandal of Sangareddy.
