Hyderabad, May 20 -- In a significant move towards empowering the disabled community, the Telangana government has announced an incentive of Rs 1 lakh for marriages between persons with disabilities.

This landmark decision has been welcomed as a long-pending demand finally fulfilled.

Muttineni Veeraiah, Chairman of the State Co-operative Corporation for the Handicapped Department, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other key leaders, stating, "Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has once again proven that he is the soulmate of disabled people."
