Hyderabad, June 1 -- To mark Telangana Formation Day on June 2, the state government on Sunday announced the presentation of Police Service Medals across various Departments.
Special Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Ravigupta, issued the orders in this regard.
A total of nine personnel from the elite Greyhounds unit have been awarded the Gallantry Medal for their exemplary bravery. Additionally, 16 officials were honoured with the Mahonnatha Seva Medal, 92 received the Uttam Seva Medal, 47 were conferred with the Harsh Seva Medal, and 461 were presented with the Seva Medal in the Police Department.
