Hyderabad, Feb. 10 -- A high-level review meeting on the upcoming Telangana Tourism Policy-2025 was held at the Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat on Monday, chaired by State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari.
The meeting focused on identifying key locations and heritage sites for development to boost the state's tourism sector.
Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari directed officials to identify prominent heritage sites and tourist destinations and incorporate them into the new policy.
She emphasised the need to develop eco-tourism, temple tourism, and health tourism projects to attract more visitors to the state.
She also suggested exploring a Sky Walk project around Tank Bund and Necklace Road to enhance the tourism experience in Hyderabad.
