Hyderabad, Jan. 9 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Friday called upon Indian National Congress leaders and workers to actively publicise the government's welfare and development initiatives to ensure victory in the Madhira Municipality elections.
Addressing a special meeting of party leaders at Madupalli in Madhira, Bhatti Vikramarka said Congress cadres often hesitate to highlight achievements, while other parties repeatedly speak about works done decades ago.
He urged leaders to focus on explaining to voters the benefits extended under the Congress government, including ration cards, fine rice distribution, Arogyasri healthcare, free electricity up to 200 units and free RTC bus travel for women.
