New Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu met Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi on Thursday, seeking swift approval for key proposals submitted by TGTRANSCO under the Green Energy Corridor - Phase 3 (GEC-III).During the meeting, the Deputy CM briefed the Union Minister about Telangana's ambitious renewable energy plans.

He explained that the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) had initially identified renewable energy zones totalling 13.5 GW across five districts of the state.
