Khammam, June 23 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday laid the foundation stone for a new RTC bus station and inaugurated new buses at Madhira in Khammam district on Monday.
The project, taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore, marks a significant development in public transport infrastructure in the region.
The new bus station is being constructed on a two-acre site to mark the completion of 35 years of the Madhira Bus Station, which was established in 1990 with four platforms.
