Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Jitender, underscored the necessity of police reforms to enhance law enforcement and ensure public welfare.
Speaking at a meeting organized by the Indian Police Foundation (IPF) on Monday, he highlighted the importance of continuous review and improvement in policing methods.
The event, titled "Better Policing Through Police Reforms," was conducted under the leadership of IPF Vice President Dr Ish Kumar, a retired IPS officer. The IPF, comprising both retired and serving IPS officers, focuses on key areas such as internal police reforms, technology-driven policing, prison reforms, forensic science research, crimes against women, and police well-being.
