Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Dr Jitender has called for strict and sustained action against organised criminal gangs and drug-related offenses across the state.

Speaking at the closing session of the First Half-Yearly Crime Review Meeting held at the DGP Office on Thursday, he urged police officials to be vigilant and proactive in tackling crime.

The meeting, coordinated by CID Additional DGP Charu Sinha, IPS, was attended by top police officers, including TGPA Director Abhilasha Bisht, DG Prisons Soumya Mishra, and several Additional DGPs, Commissioners, IGPs, and SPs from across Telangana.
