Hyderabad, Sept. 16 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has directed the Commercial Tax Department to conduct circle-wise reviews and explore new avenues to boost revenue collection.
Chairing the State Revenue Resources Mobilisation Sub-Committee meeting at Dr B R Ambedkar Secretariat today, he emphasised the need for category-wise analysis of commodities and studying best practices from other states.
Cabinet Sub-Committee members and Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Duddilla Sridhar Babu also participated in the review.
The Deputy CM, who is also Finance Minister, asked officials to coordinate with HMDA, GHMC, and the Housing Board to enhance income for the Stamps and Registration Department.
