Hyderabad, Feb. 11 -- Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari held a teleconference on Tuesday with district Collectors of Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Peddapalli, Mancherial, and Karimnagar, directing them to formulate an action plan to ensure the adequate availability of sand for housing at fair prices.
She instructed the Collectors to form joint teams comprising officials from the Revenue and Police departments to conduct physical inspections of sand reaches and stockyards. The inspection teams should include officers of the rank of RDO and DSP and should assess entry and exit points, facilities, and any gaps that need to be addressed.
