Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- Telangana CPI state secretariat member and former legislator Chada Venkat Reddy on Monday strongly objected to union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that there would be no talks with Maoists and that they "will see their end."Describing the remarks as "evil and dictatorial," Chada demanded an immediate halt to Operation Kagaru and urged the government to initiate dialogue with the Maoists.
In a video statement here, he questioned whether India is functioning as a democracy if such actions continue and emphasised that neither Maoists nor communists seek a society of inequality, insisting that wealth should belong to all.
