Hyderabad, Dec. 3 -- In the wake of drubbing of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the Assembly election, Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao will submit his resignation to Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Sunday evening.

KCR who accepted the BRS defeat, will meet the Governor and submit his resignation, according to sources here.

Before submitting the resignation, the CM is expected to address a press conference, the sources added.

According to the Election Commission of India , the Congress party crossed the magic mark of 60 seats in the counting of votes after it won 13 seats and leading in 50 while the BRS was leading in 33 seats after it won 7 seats.
