Hyderabad, Sept. 9 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy fired a salvo at the opposition BRS for "spreading canards" on the river Godavari water supply to Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister rebutted the comments made by the opposition that Godavari water will be lifted from Mallanna Sagar from the drinking water needs of Hyderabad people.
Addressing a public meeting after laying foundation stones for Godavari phase 2 and 3 at Gandipet near here, the CM said that the state government has prepared plans to bring 20 TMC of Godavari water from the Sripada Yellampally project.
