New Delhi/Hyderabad, May 24 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and sought urgent support and approvals for several strategic infrastructure and industrial projects critical to the state's growth, including the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II, the Regional Ring Road, and proposals linked to the semiconductor and defence sectors.

Reddy apprised the Prime Minister of the pressing need to expand Hyderabad's Metro Rail network. He said the first phase, spanning 69 km across three corridors and built for Rs 22,000 crore, had not seen any expansion in the past 10 years.
