Hyderabad, July 21 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday held a high-level video conference with district collectors and senior officials from the Secretariat, issuing a series of instructions in view of the ongoing heavy rains across the state.

The Chief Minister called on district collectors and all department heads to remain on high alert to ensure public safety and uninterrupted services. He expressed concern that although the state recorded 21 per cent less rainfall since June, the last three days have witnessed intense downpours, necessitating immediate preparedness at all levels.
