Hyderabad, Oct. 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday evening announced several welfare measures for the Telugu film industry's workforce, including the creation of a Rs 10-crore welfare fund, the establishment of a dedicated school for workers' children, and free medical facilities under the Arogyasri scheme.
Addressing a felicitation function organised by the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation and its 24 affiliated unions at the Yousufguda Police Grounds, the Chief Minister recalled the contribution of former Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy, who, he said, played a crucial role in shifting the Telugu film industry to Hyderabad.
