Karimnagar, Dec. 3 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday announced that the government will fill another 40,000 vacancies soon.
The announcement came during his visit to Husnabad in Karimnagar district, where he laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 262.78 crore, coinciding with the completion of two years of Congress rule in the state.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said Husnabad occupies a special place in Telangana's history as the land where Sardar Sarvai Papanna laid the foundations of Bahujan self-rule.
He recalled Karimnagar's pivotal role in the statehood movement and noted that Sonia Gandhi reaffirmed her commitment to forming Telangana right from Karimnagar.
