Telangana CM Reddy offers prayers at Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahankali temple
Hyderabad, July 13 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today afternoon visited the historic Ujjaini Mahankali Temple in Secunderabad as part of the ongoing Bonalu celebrations.
He arrived at the temple from his residence in Jubilee Hills, receiving a traditional welcome by temple priests with Poornakumbham honours.
During his visit, the Chief Minister offered silk clothes to the presiding deity, continuing the long-standing tradition of paying homage during the Bonalu festival, a major cultural and religious event in Telangana.
Accompanying the Chief Minister were several state ministers, including Konda Surekha, who offered a bonam at the temple.
