Hyderabad, March 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to prepare plans for the construction of ring roads around all major district centres to ease traffic congestion and improve the movement of goods and transport vehicles.
Reviewing the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday evening, the Chief Minister said ring roads would help prevent heavy vehicles from entering district headquarters and ensure smoother transportation.
He suggested that existing roads around district centres should be connected to develop the ring roads and asked officials to construct radial roads linking the district headquarters with the proposed ring roads.
