Hyderabad, April 3 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to remain on high alert as heavy rains accompanied by strong winds have led to flooding in low-lying areas of Hyderabad.

He urged authorities to take necessary measures to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience, an official statement said on Thursday. With waterlogging reported in several parts of the city, the Chief Minister instructed officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), police, and other concerned departments to work in coordination to address issues such as traffic disruptions and power outages.
