Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- The 375th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Sri Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud Maharaj was celebrated with grandeur at Ravindra Bharathi on Monday.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy attended the event as chief guest and paid floral tributes to the revolutionary leader, describing him as a great fighter who founded the Bahujan Empire.

The Chief Minister recalled how the previous government neglected Khilashapur Fort and reiterated his commitment to preserve and develop it as a historical tourist site.

He announced that a statue of Sardar Papanna Goud would be installed near the Secretariat to inspire future generations. "Idols are not just for anniversaries but to ignite the spirit of their struggles," he said.
