Nagarkurnool (Telangana), May 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Macharam village in Amrabad Mandal of Nagarkurnool district on Monday to launch the ambitious Rs 12,600 crore "Indira Saura Giri Jal Vikasam" scheme, aimed at enhancing irrigation and water accessibility in tribal and remote areas through solar-powered solutions.
As part of the initiative, the state government will provide a 100 per cent subsidy of Rs 6 lakh per unit to eligible beneficiaries. During the launch event, the Chief Minister distributed solar pump sets to farmers and other beneficiaries.
