Hyderabad, March 17 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday launched the "Rajiv Yuva Vikasam" scheme with a budget of Rs 6,000 crore at the Legislative Assembly premises here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister announced that the scheme aims to provide employment opportunities to 5 lakh unemployed youth across the state.

Under Rajiv Yuva Vikasam, financial assistance ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 4 lakh will be provided, with the beneficiary list set to be announced on June 2.

The scheme is expected to generate employment for 4,000 to 5,000 people in each constituency.
