Hyderabad, Oct. 29 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today instructed top Irrigation officials to prepare plans to bring 80 TMC of water from Tummidihatti to Sundilla and finalise estimations for the repairs of the damaged Sundilla barrage.
The Sundilla barrage is currently being repaired to bring water to the Sripada Yellampalli project.
During a high-level review of the state's irrigation projects, Revanth Reddy enquired about the damage status of the Sundilla barrage. He also ordered authorities to prepare plans to supply irrigation and drinking water to the erstwhile Adilabad district.
The Chief Minister stressed that the estimations for the repairs should be prepared by taking into consideration the old works.
