New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 24 -- In the wake of continuous heavy rainfall across Telangana, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed all District Collectors to remain on high alert and ensure effective coordination among departments to prevent inconvenience to the public.

Though currently stationed in New Delhi, the Chief Minister held a teleconference with officials from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) on Thursday to review the rain situation across the state.

CM Reddy directed that special attention be given to low-lying and flood-prone areas, and that immediate relief measures be taken wherever necessary. He emphasised that all departments must work in coordination to mitigate the impact of the downpour.
