Hyderabad, July 7 -- Stating that the People's Government is committed to the empowerment of women, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today declared 60 seats for women in the next state Assembly elections.

Addressing after launching Vana Mahotsavam 2025 at PJT Agriculture University here, Revanth said he will take the responsibility of giving 60 party tickets to women in the the next Assembly elections, following reports that women quota in legislative bodies will be in force in the next elections.

Listing out the women empowerment schemes including the responsibility of setting up solar plants and running government schools for girls, the CM said that the government provided Rs 21,000 crore loans to women groups this year.
