New Delh/Hyderabad, Nov. 24 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy attended the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Surya Kant as the Chief Justice of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday morning.
Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister conveyed his greetings to the newly appointed Chief Justice and extended his best wishes for a distinguished and impactful tenure, an official statement said.
Justice Surya Kant was administered the oath by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He succeeds Justice B.R. Gavai and will serve a tenure till February 9, 2027.
