Hyderabad, Feb. 20 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to provide immediate medical assistance to Rakesh, a young man suffering from pseudo-muscular dystrophy, a severe muscle disease.

Moved by Rakesh's plight, the Chief Minister also instructed officials to provide him with a charging vehicle for mobility.

Following the CM's instructions, CM OSD Vemula Srinivasulu contacted Rakesh's family and assured them that the government would extend all possible support, according to an official statement here on Thursday.
