Hyderabad, June 9 -- Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C Sudharshan Reddy on Monday instructed District Collectors and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to complete all pre-revision activities for the upcoming Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls.
During a video conference, he emphasised the need to rationalise polling stations, fill vacant posts, and provide comprehensive training to officials.
He said, as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI), polling stations with over 1,200 electors must be rationalised to enhance voter convenience.
