Hyderabad, Oct. 11 -- State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, will be held here on October 16. The session is expected to discuss key issues, including BC reservations and the recent high court's stay on Government order (GO 9) which provided a 42 per cent reservation quota for Backward Classes in local bodies.

The cabinet will also discuss on key irrigation initiatives in the State along with policies on BC reservations.

It may be mentioned here that the court has granted the state government four weeks' time to file counter-affidavits on the petitions and allowed two additional weeks for the petitioners to file their replies, if necessary.
