Hyderabad, Aug. 4 -- The Telangana cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, started at the Secretariat today afternoon to review the findings on the Kaleshwaram project.
Irrigation Minister Captain N Uttam Kumar Reddy presented the report of the Justice PC Ghosh Commission, which investigated irregularities in the planning, construction, and operation of the multi-crore Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. He also briefed the cabinet on the key points through a PowerPoint presentation.
Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and then Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao were held directly and indirectly responsible for the lapses and irregularities, according to the report.
