Hyderabad, March 30 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Monday night said the state budget reflects a comprehensive "People's Budget," focusing on welfare, infrastructure and long-term economic growth, while laying the foundation to transform Telangana into a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047.
Participating in the discussion on the Budget Appropriation Bill in the Assembly, he said Telangana has achieved a growth rate of 10.7 per cent, surpassing the national average of 8 per cent, with a significant rise in per capita income. He expressed confidence that the state, with its strong human resources and systems, can sustain higher growth and achieve its ambitious targets.
