Hyderabad, Jan. 3 -- The BJP on Saturday outright rejected the politically motivated resolution passed by the Telangana Assembly on the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G Act 2025).
On Friday, the Telangana sssembly passed a resolution opposing the VB-G RAM Act which replaces the MGNREGA introduced in 2006.
In a statement on Saturday, state BJP president N Ramchander Rao said the Congress party's opposition to the VB-G RAM G Act once again proves that it is fundamentally opposed to reform, decentralisation, and accountability.
The resolution passed by the Telangana Assembly is not about workers' welfare-it is about Congress's fear of losing political control over rural India, he said.
