Hyderabad, May 21 -- BJP Legislative Party leader Eleti Maheshwar Reddy strongly condemned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's remarks, alleging that the Modi-led central government yielded to pressure from former US President Donald Trump in its response to Pakistan.
In a media statement issued on Wednesday, Maheshwar Reddy described the comments as "ignorant, irresponsible, and bordering on treason."
He said that the Indian Army's retaliatory strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan following the Pulwama and Pahalgam attacks stand as evidence of the Modi government's firm stance against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
