Hyderabad, May 12 -- The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday strongly condemned remarks made by Panchayat Raj Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, alleging that the BJP was involved in the attack on Karachi Bakery.
Addressing a press conference at the state party office in Nampally, former MLC N Ramchander Rao stated, "We strongly reject Minister Seethakka's baseless accusation that the BJP attacked Karachi Bakery. Such statements are misleading and defamatory."
He clarified that in the backdrop of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, BJP leaders and cadres across the country were engaged in prayers and motivational activities for the safety of Indian soldiers and the nation's well-being.
