Hyderabad, Nov. 5 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao came down heavily on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of indulging in divisive and appeasement politics through his recent remarks about the Muslim community.
In a sharp statement issued on Wednesday, Ramchandra Rao said the Chief Minister's comments were "a complete example of appeasement politics" and reflected the Congress Party's "true face of divisive and vote bank politics."Quoting Revanth Reddy's remarks that "Muslims exist today because of the Congress" and "Muslims have no direction without the Congress," the BJP leader said such statements showed the Congress was more interested in religious polarisation than in governance or development.
