Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- BJP State President N Ranchander Rao, as part of the "Palle Nidra" program, inspected the Rythu Fertilizer, Seeds & Pesticides shop in Chevella on Thursday and interacted with farmers on the availability of fertilizers.

Speaking to the media after the inspection, Ranchander Rao said farmers have confirmed there is no shortage of urea and that they are receiving adequate supply for their crops.

He cautioned Congress leaders and the state government against making statements that create panic among farmers or spread false propaganda.

He pointed out that while the state had sought 20 lakh metric tons of urea, the Centre had already supplied the same quantity, with an additional 2 lakh metric tons being arranged. Union ...
