Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- The Telangana Legislative Assembly, which commenced at 10:30 am today, was adjourned to 9 am tomorrow.
Soon after the proceedings began, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy moved a condolence motion on the passing of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath. Supporting the motion, several members paid tribute to Gopinath's services and and recalled contributions to his party, while the House expressed its condolences to the bereaved family. A two-minute silence was observed in his memory.
Following the condolence references, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar adjourned the House until Sunday.
