Hyderabad, April 28 -- Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Tuesday said the State has immense potential to emerge as a premier tourism destination in the country and directed officials to prepare a comprehensive, time-bound action plan to boost the sector.
Speaking at the Tourism Advisory Committee meeting held at Begumpet, the Minister emphasised infrastructure development, destination branding, and effective promotion to position Telangana as a vibrant tourism hub.
He said the government aims to leverage the State's rich heritage, temples, eco-tourism spots, forests, and reservoirs along with its hospitality strengths.
