Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Telangana is working strategically to position itself as a global manufacturing hub, State IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said today.
He was speaking at Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Private Limited in Rudraram, Sangareddy district, where he laid the foundation stone for the Rs 177 crore expansion of the EHVT power transformer plant and inaugurated two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities - the Rs 65 crore CRGO Core Processing Centre and the Rs 105 crore Surge Arrester Unit. The three projects form part of a total investment of Rs 347 crore.
