Hyderabad, June 23 -- In a major boost to farmers, Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced on Monday that an sum of Rs 8,284.66 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme has been successfully deposited into the accounts of 67.01 lakh farmers across the state.
He stated that the process of crediting Rythu Bharosa funds for all cultivated lands, irrespective of acreage, will be completed by Tuesday.
Speaking to the media at Secretariat, the Minister said the entire fund disbursement for the monsoon season has been completed in just nine days, fulfilling the promise made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
