Hyderabad, Feb. 4 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana, Hyderabad registered 19 cases in January 2025, targeting corruption across multiple government departments.
Among these cases, 10 were trap cases, 1 involved Disproportionate Assets (DA), and 3 were related to Criminal Misconduct.
Additionally, 3 Regular Enquiries and 3 Discreet Enquiries were ordered, ACB statement said on Tuesday.
A total of 17 public servants, including 3 outsourcing employees/private individuals, were arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
In various trap cases spanning departments such as Education, Revenue, Home, Finance, Animal Husbandry, MA&UD, and Health, Medical & Family Welfare, officials seized Rs 1,45,000 in bribe amounts.
