Hyderabad, Dec. 17 -- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad on Wednesday for her annual winter sojourn at the Rashtrapati Nilayam, staying until around December 22.
Upon her arrival at the Hakimpet airport near here, she was welcomed by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti, Minister-in-Waiting for the President's visit Seethakka, Minister Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and DGP Shivadhar Reddy at Hakimpet Airport , here this afternoon.
She arrived here after offering prayers at the Golden Temple, Vellore,Tamil Nadu.
Police have made elaborate security arrangements in view of her visit in the city.
