Hyderabad, April 15 -- The Government Railway Police (GRP) Secunderabad, along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), jointly busted an interstate drug peddling racket on Tuesday by arresting a 31-year-old agricultural labour from Odisha.
They seized marijuana worth Rs 2.2 lakh from his possession at the Secunderabad Railway station on Tuesday.
The accused identified as Benjamin Gamango was operating between Odisha and Pune via Hyderabad, police said here.
On April 14, Benjamin, who went to the Adava forest area in Odisha, purchased 4 kg of marijuana at Rs 2,000 per kg and boarded the Visakha Express with a general class ticket.
